How do I get people to refer me?

 

    Do you wonder how to get more referrals?  In this short video Dave Clarke of NRG shows you how to become more referrable:

     

    It comes down in the first place to be absolutely crystal clear about what it is you do, who it is you do that for and who you are looking to be referred to.  Make that consistently part of the way you introduce yourself when you meet people through your network.

     

    Then it is about becoming referrable and you become referrable when people like you.

     

    When you start doing things for other people within the network, part of which means making referrals for them, that helps to make you referrable but you need to have that consistent message about what your are looking for.

     

    Key Learning Points:

    Be crystal clear about:

    • what you do
    • who you do it for
    • who you want to be introduced to

    Have a consitnet message

    People need to like you first before they refer you

    Part of being liked is referring others.
