In this short video Martin Davies, co-founder of NRG, explain why we started NRG.
Here is a bit more about Martin.
My expertise is in relationship based business development. When I started a career in Sales and Marketing over thirty years ago I worked out that, not being a natural salesman, I had to use such talents that I had. I naturally enjoy meeting other people and building relationships. I used this in the business environment and found it paid dividends. Building long term relationships and focusing on my client’s issues delivered extraordinary business results – far better than just concentrating on the business transaction and short term results.
After arming myself with multiple degrees (Physics MA and Computing Doctorate) I developed my expertise in IBM. Being both analytic and deeply interested in people was especially relevant in the 90s where I lead (and won) several mega-outsourcing deals mainly in the finance sector.
In 2002 I took 'the package' and spent the next two years learning how small businesses work. This naturally led to setting up NRG in 2004. We help business owners grow their business and themselves using the NRG Advocacy Marketing system.
In additon to NRG I have a property investment business which I jointly run with my son Rupert Davies.
I live in Wiltshire with my wife and two children. When not working I spend time with the family and friends. I also play bridge, walk and read historical novels.
