Software Developer says his dramatic growth is because of networking

Ayrmer Software is a West Country specialist software company with clients across Europe.  Through NRG Business Networks they received a sales lead that started at £10k but will achieve £30K spend this year leading to £70K next year.

Another piece of business is a £45,000 contract for the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) and the National Council for Voluntary Child Care Organisations. Simon May is working on the front end look and feel of the website design. Another referral has led Ayrmer Software to pre contract discussions with a major building consortium.

Ayrmer Software’s Charlie Collins has handled NRG’s website and online booking system for two years and has seen NRG grow. He says ‘Their strength is helping people get the most out of networking. They focus on the client and really care about people, facilitating introductions for members. They provide great education for people who don’t fully understand networking– and then we all see those companies grow! I used to be a freelance IT contractor and thought I knew it all where networking was concerned. When I came out of corporate land I felt uncomfortable in other networking groups where the emphasis was on aggressive sales. NRG teach a more relaxed form of networking where you build trust first – then the business still comes in.’

Ayrmer Software found a business coach through NRG and says Jeremy Marchant has helped them turn their business around.
