My NRG relationships earn me money & credibility

I help SME's raise packages of finance from a variety of different sources: typically banks, Finance Wales, Welsh Assembly Government, regional development funds, angel networks, merchant banks, angels, asset finance and invoice factoring.

As a Business Finance Advisor I inevitably cover many different industries and sectors. While I don’t need to be an expert in any particular sector it is beneficial to both my client and me that I have access to professionals who are experts in that sector.

In this case I was focusing on the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.  I have developed some excellent contacts and associates over the last 12 months of NRG networking.  I was able to quickly identify like minded people from different disciplines who know the renewable energy sector well and have both the expertise and complimentary services to enable me to present a comprehensive package of solutions to my client. Specifically I have one client who is in the solar panelling business. 

Through my relationships with Mark Taylor (Taylormade Energy Solutions) and Mark Pendleton (ISO in a box) I was able to put together a package of specific industry consulting, ISO and other regulatory requirements, marketing as well as my financial offerings.My client was delighted to receive a comprehensive and tailored package of services geared for their particular sector delivered by industry experts.

It improved my credibility with my client as being a valued source of industry specific information as well as providing me with more business.  The two Marks, my newly formed partners,  clearly benefited through contracts with this client.  As a result of this engagement this has lead to a prospect list of another dozen companies in the same industry with the same requirements.
