Speaker Dave Harries of Communicate TV- Communication: Is it better to give or to receive?

It’s the stuff of everyday life and certainly essential for business, both internally and externally.  Yet few of us stop to consider what communication is really all about and why it matters.

We take communication for granted most of the time  - we just get on with it as part of the fabric of our everyday lives.

Yet, if we do it poorly, the consequences can be terrible.  A misplaced word, a badly phrased sentence, an erroneous Tweet – they can all land you in court or worse.  Our communications are a potential minefield threatening to blow up our professional and personal lives with one mis-step.

So, shouldn’t we take it all a bit more seriously, especially in our super-connected social media world?

Come and find out Dave’s opinion over lunch and watch him attempt to communicate his view without offending or slandering anyone.
